“Ghana month reminds us who we are” – Prudential Bank MD champions national pride
Prudential Bank Limited has joined nationwide celebrations marking Ghana Month, with activities across its branches highlighting the country’s cultural heritage and identity.
Observed every March, Ghana Month serves as a period for reflection on the nation’s history and independence, while promoting the diverse traditions that define Ghanaian society. At Prudential Bank, the celebration has been marked by staff dressing in traditional attire, including kente, wax prints and smocks, turning banking halls into colourful showcases of Ghanaian culture.
The Acting Managing Director, Ebow Quayson, said the initiative underscored the bank’s commitment to national identity and community engagement.
“Ghana Month reminds us of who we are as a people. As a proud indigenous bank, we are honoured to celebrate our heritage while strengthening our connection with the communities we serve,” he noted.
He added that the bank would continue to promote Ghanaian culture through local initiatives and home-grown digital solutions designed to serve customers around the clock.
The Head of Human Resources, Lillian A. Asante, commended staff for their enthusiasm and participation, noting that the celebration had fostered unity within the organisation.
“Our employees have shown incredible energy. From the colourful outfits to the Independence Day excitement, it has been heartwarming to see colleagues unite to celebrate our shared heritage,” she said.
