2024 Tertiary Business Sense Challenge to be launched Tuesday
Thirty six prime tertiary schools in the country will engage in a battle of wits and business acumen at this year’s Tertiary Business Sense Challenge (TBSC) which is expected to be launched tomorrow July 17, at the Executive Theatre of TV3.
The participating schools in this year’s edition of the TBSC are; University of Ghana, University of Cape Coast, Academic City University, Kumasi Technical University, University of Development Studies Tamale, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Akenten Appiah Menka University for Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Developmewnt, Kumasi, Central University, Tamale Technical University, University for Energy and Natural Resources, Sunyani, University of Education, Winneba, Wisconsin International University College, All Nations University, SD Dombo University for Business and Integrated Development Studies, Wa, Ghana Communication Technology University and Dr Hilla Limann Techical University.

The rest are Kings University College, Koforidua Technical University, Ndoum School of Business and Technology, West End University College, Blue Crest Universty, Kunstford University College, African University College of Communications, Heritage Christian University, Pentecostal University, Sunyani Technical University, Catholic University of Ghana, GIMPA Business School, Accra Technical University, Akim State University College, Laweh University College, Christ Apostolic University College, University of Professioal Studies, Accra, Data Link Institute of Business and Tech, Methodist University College and VVU School of Business.
The challenge, the sixth edition dubbed version 6.0, and organized by the Graphic Business and its parent company the Graphic Communications Group Limited is aimed at bridging the gap between academic and the job market.
“The TBSC assesses the level of readiness of business students to apply business principles to solve business challenges while enabling students to apply creative thinking to their business activities,” Mr Frankin Sowa , director of marketing at Graphic Communications Group Ltd told the Graphic Business yesterday ahead of the launch.
He further noted that the quiz creates an avenue for corporate institutions to invest in project concepts or implement research projects developed by the students.
