NDK Financial Services launches CSR Foundation
The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Legon, Prof. Ernest Aryeetey has called for the reform of the Ghana Education Service (GES), saying it is in order to move Ghana's education sector forward.

According to him, this can only be achieved if government allows for wider public debate or discussion into restructuring of the GES to make the education system work effectively.
“It's time we Ghanaians debate the structure and the functions of the GES to move the system forward”. “We have to reform the GES, there's no reason today why the school boss can't take basic decisions on teachers, there's absolutely no reason why he cannot take basic decision on the pupils or students”.
“There has to be a forum for us Ghanaians to debate the issues. It should not be a prerogative of a small number of people at the Ministry of Education or parliament to decide that for us. Our children are the future so it is not the Ministry of Education or Parliament or anybody. It's for us Ghanaians to discuss those issues” he stressed.
Prof. Ernest Aryeetey made the call whiles delivering a lecture on the theme: “The Politics of Educational Reforms in Ghana” to mark the 25th Anniversary celebration and a launch of the CSR foundation of NDK Financial Services Limited in Accra on July 21, 2016.
NDK financial Services Limited, a leading non-banking financial service provider in Ghana also used the occasion to launch its Corporate Social Responsibility Foundation aimed at aiding and promoting sports, health and education in the country.
