Pasico Ghana gets new manager
A British spare parts expert, Mr Tim Cooper, is to manage the operations of a newly built spare parts warehouse, Pasico Ghana, in Accra.
The warehouse was commissioned in January 2013 after an investment of $146,000.
It is about 470 square metres and currently stocks original spare parts for world-class lifting machines such as Grove, Konecranes, Manitou, Manitowoc, JCB Teletruk and Terberg.
Its new manager said prior to taking office that he was looking forward to building on the foundations that Pasico had laid over the years.
Pasico Ghana started operations in 1948 and has since sold, rented and serviced lifting equipment to companies and institutions across many sectors of the country.
“I have already learned that Pasico is a strong brand name in Ghana and I’m looking forward to building on those foundations and to continue developing the spare parts business and building on relationships with existing customers and forging relationships with new ones,” he said.
Mr Cooper also added tha the Pasico warehouse and its systems were designed to help grow the businesses of customers and thus called on them to collaborate with it in that regard.
The company’s new warehouse, which was commissioned in January this year, has a stock value of about GH¢2.3 million.
