Re-labeled Blue Jeans safe for consumption

Budget Cash and Carry Limited, wholesalers of foods and beverages and importers of Blue Jeans Energy Drink has assured the general public that the re-labeled 250ml cans of the energy drink, imported for Christmas is safe for consumption.

The assurance, comes on the back of a different lithographically branded cans used to package the drinks, instead of its usual branded wrapping.

A statement issued by the company and signed by its CEO, Mr Joseph Kweku Egyir Aggrey said, as a result of the wrong packaging anomaly, the product was re-labeled by the manufacturer using wrap-around sticker labels of blue jeans energy drink with a picture of Santa Claus.

“We wish to inform the general public that the product is Blue Jeans Energy Drink and it is authentic and wholesome with regard to its origin and quality.

The statement gave the assurance that “the product is blue jeans energy drink and is authentic and wholesome with regard to its origin and quality.”

It added that “the anomaly has also been brought to the attention of the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA), with certificate of analysis, health certificate and a certificate of freesale from the manufacturer to support the claim of product safety, quality and origin.”

Budget Cash and Carry Limited, the statement added “wishes to assure its consumers of high quality products and would also like to wish the general public, especially patrons of its products a merry Christmas and a happy new year.”
