Assan arrives with Wonkoa

For sometime now, highlife music seem to have been the preserve of old musicians but in recent time, the genre has become attractive to some young ones who want to follow in the footsteps of highlife greats such as Amakye Dede, Daddy Lumba, Paapa Yankson, Amandzeba among others.

One such young musician is new artiste, Assan Qoma who says he has got what it takes to follow the exploits of the trail blazers. According to him, his new song, Wonkoa, is an evidence of his claims.

On Wonkoa, which was recorded by MADDHAUS in Dodowa, Assan Qoma sings about his love for women and goes on to preach about fidelity and faithfulness and the need for women to take up such qualities.

He said that he chooses his lyrics carefully since he sees music as a huge platform to talk about the ills in society. 

With the right grooming from the MADDHAUS crew and hardwork, Assan Qoma said he is ready to rock the world of music with the stuff he is made of and believes he will be a Grammy award winner.
