Expect a different Samini as I turn 40 - Samini
Forty years is considered a big milestone in anyone's life and those who attain that age often tries to make some changes as they celebrate.
Well, Dancehall artiste Samini is not an exception and as he turns 40 on December 22, the man who has proven to be one of the country's best stage performers has promised that people will see a different side of him.
Speaking with Graphic Showbiz at the launch of his Xperience Concert, which will be held on his birthday, he said, “Samini was a young boy but has now matured into a man and as I turn 40 years there is going to be a whole new me. My music, my stagecraft and every other thing is going to change from better to best,” he said.
According to the Linda hitmaker, he has come far as a musician and after being in the music industry for two decades, the best he can do is to just improve upon what he has been doing.
The Samini Xperience Concert is being powered by events company Image Bureau headed by Joy FM presenter George Quaye.

The launch, which had industry players including sound engineers and musicians in attendance, saw performances from Lamisi and other underground artistes. The launch couldn't have been complete without a performance from Samini who did songs such as Obra, Linda, My Own and his latest Picture featuring Efya.
He entreated everyone to come to the main concert on December 22 which will come off at the Labadi Beach Hotel.
In a speech, George Quaye said he has been a fan of Samini for a long time and as he turns 40, his outfit decided to celebrate him in grand style.
“It is a privilege to partner Samini for this concert. He deserves this and more. I cannot wait for the main concert come December 22,” he said.

Officials of MTN, sponsors of the event, pledged their support to Samini stating that he was their brand ambassador some years ago and they were always willing to support a talented musician like him.
