2baba’s appointment comes in recognition of his efforts towards the welfare of those who have been displaced across Africa and beyond.
In a post on Instagram, 2Baba’s manager prayed the Lord to grant him the ability to do more.
“Congrats @official2baba. Well deserved recognition for your unwavering commitment and tireless work towards the welfare of forcefully displaced persons across Africa and the globe. May God grant you the grace and ability to do more. Bless up bro”, he wrote.
In March 2020, veteran singer 2Baba and NB Plc. made N10 million, equivalent to $25,728, donation to support initiatives aimed at combating the CoVID-19.
Nigeria at that time had recorded 131 confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country.
