4Syte TV hits one million followers on Instagram

Entertainment/music channel 4Syte TV has hit one million followers on Instagram.

The feat was achieved on Saturday, July 25 and makes 4Syte TV the first urban entertainment/music channel in Africa to do so.

Since starting as a 30-minute entertainment show on TV3 and growing to become a 24-hour digital TV channel, 4Syte TV has been a home to mainstream and up and coming artistes not only in Ghana but across the continent.

It has helped unearth new talents, not only musicians but presenters as well and provided a much needed platform for even established acts.

Not only does it play the best of music; from Hiplife, Hip-hop, Highlife, Dancehall, R&B to Reggae and other genres, its celebrity game is also strong with the celebrity birthday bashes, which are always lit, pool parties and other innovative events.

Through the 4Syte Music Video Awards (MVA) which 10th edition was held last year, the channel celebrates those behind the camera producing amazing music videos as well as artistes who have excelled in the year under review. The awards is one of the best organised on the entertainment calendar.

Some of its notable programmes are GPower100, Studio Vibes, Top 10 Urban Countdown among others.  

In May this year, 4Syte TV unveiled its new studio with state of the art equiment. It is currently running a new talent hunt known as Fame Game, a competition open to aspiring singers, rappers, DJs and presenters between the ages 16 and 35.
