Belinda Baidoo hosts Sip and Wine Expo to champion Made-in-Ghana wear

INTERNATIONAL fashion model and Creative Director of BB Boutique, Belinda Baidoo has successfully hosted a Sip and Wine shopping experience at her BB Boutique in Osu, Accra on Thursday, December 2, 2025.

The boutique was transformed into a hub of cultural celebration, featuring a wide range of locally produced fashion creations ranging from clothing, footwear to cosmetic products. 

Patrons, made up of a vibrant mix of shoppers, including locals and members of the diaspora, all eager to explore and support made-in-Ghana products were spoilt for choice.

There  were a variety of outfits, including skirts, tops, full-length and short dresses, as well as kimonos,  available in both casual and formal styles, all crafted from locally sourced fabrics by BB brand.

There were also a cosmetics selection of hair products, body creams as well as nourishing oils.

The expo highlighted the creativity and craftsmanship of Ghanaian designers and artisans, underscoring the country's growing influence in the global fashion scene.

Also as patrons sipped on drinks while enjoying an intimate shopping experience, they were treated to good music, networking opportunities, creating a relaxed and engaging atmosphere for patrons to mingle and share ideas.

Speaking exclusively to Graphic Showbiz, Belinda Baidoo explained that the event aimed at achieving more than just promoting Ghanaian products.

“This event is not only about showcasing the beauty and quality of made-in-Ghana wear and other beauty products to a wider audience but it is also about empowering women in the fashion industry.

“As someone who has worked in the global fashion scene, I believe it is essential to use my platform to uplift others and celebrate the incredible talent we have here in Ghana," she said.

Attendees, particularly those from the diaspora, expressed admiration for the unique blend of tradition and modernity evident in the showcased pieces.

Many noted that the event provided an opportunity to reconnect with their heritage while supporting sustainable and ethical fashion practices.
