Big thanks for your support —Piesie Esther
If there was one artiste who stood tall in the Ghanaian gospel music fraternity last year, it was Piesie Esther.
Apart from successfully marking her 20 years in the music industry anniversary with her Made By Grace concerts in Accra and Kumasi respectively, she was billed on almost every gospel event in Ghana as well as some private parties, weddings among others.
According to her, these achievements couldn’t have been successful without the support from God, her team and her loyal fans who always encourage her to go for gold.

Speaking in an interview with Graphic Showbiz, the Wa Ye Me Yie singer said she was grateful for the huge success last year.
“The records are there to show, I am not the one saying it but there is evidence to prove it. I did my best last year and I believe Ghanaians can attest to it. I was on almost every major gospel show in Ghana and outside including private gigs and this is all by His grace and the loyal fans who always come through for me. I am grateful for this opportunity”, she said.
Asked whether all the hard work is going to yield her any awards this year, she said her focus is not on awards but the positive impact of her music.
“I am doing what I know best and if the awards come in addition, that is a plus. For now, my aim is to preach the word of God through music and I believe 2023 will go well like last year. It is all the favour of God”, she added.
Last year, marked 20 years in the gospel music industry and she says she couldn’t believe it herself.
“20 years in the ministry is no joke. I really had to work to get here. Not many gospel musicians have achieved that and I want to use this opportunity to encourage the young ones to be humble and learn from the older ones in the game. I have a lot of mentors who guide me”, she noted.
