I seek permission before touching married co-stars – Uzor Arukwe

Speaking in a recent interview with BBC Igbo, the actor explained that he always seeks the consent of his female colleagues, especially those who are married, before touching them in certain ways during filming.

According to him, the decision is rooted in respect and a desire to avoid creating misunderstandings or problems in the marriages of his colleagues due to scenes performed on set.

Arukwe further clarified that he had never met or had any form of relationship with BamBam prior to working together on their first movie.

“Before filming, I ask my co-lead actor if it is okay to touch them in a certain way, especially the married ones because I don’t want them to have problems at home,” he said.
