Dubbed, Black, Bold and Beautiful, the 10pm show, according to the organisers, is to reveal not just the Sweetio’s singer’s views on women empowerment but her in-depth knowledge on sex and relationships.

Raquel believes that the issue of sex has been relegated to the background and should be given more recognition.

“I recognise that in our part of the world, sex is regarded sacred, so culturally it is expected that we discuss it in the confines of our private environment but sometimes, we need to share ideas.

“ That is why my team put together this show so that my fans especially the ladies will have the privilege of not  just watching  me dish out some of my nice songs but tell them the secrets to what puts women in control over men.

“ Let the ladies come and learn some top secrets to spice up their relationship” she said.

As part of activities for the year, Raquel has released a couple of singles and the video of her latest, I Won’t Cry, will be premiered at the show.

Produced by Ben Kusilin of One Mic Entertainment, I Won’t Cry is a good piece from the Lovi Dovi singer as she moves away from her comfort zone of doing fast tempo music.

Raquel entreats single ladies not to hold on to men who don’t deserve their love and affection but muster the courage to let them go when they don’t meet their expectation, “They were not good for them, they were not made for them, they could never be theirs so they need not cry when they leave”.
