Choirs to show class at ‘Choralfest’

In full flow, some choirs are capable of elevating listeners to unbelievable levels of bliss and that is what many lovers of choral music would be looking forward to at this year’s  MTN Choralfest slated for Easter Sunday, April 20 at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Some of the nation’s best choirs would be in attendance at the event being staged by the telecommunications company as an Easter treat to the public.  

Choirs scheduled to come on and show their  skills are Winneba Youth Choir, Harmonius Chorale, Dansoman Youth Choir,  Olivet Voices and the M Praise Choir.

MTN sources say Choralfest has come to stay as an annual event and will continue to be a vital platform for choirs to reach out to everyone with their beautiful voices and song arrangements.

Solo artistes on the bill are Cecilia Marfo, OJ, Boadiwaa, Ernest Opoku, Kay Bee from Season 2 of MTN Hitmaker, Ceccy Twum and Miriam from MTN Hitmaker Season 1.

A choreographed performance of the story of salvation will also be on stage by the National Dance Company.

Ticket for the show are available  at key MTN Offices in Accra. Proceeds from Choralfest 2014, which is being  supported by Pepsi, will be donated to charity.
