Chris Brown show to turn stadium into ‘Madison Garden’

All over the world, outdoor stages, which give the ultimate concert experience for big performances are built for mega concerts, and especially in Ghana, in the absence of an auditorium big enough to hold patrons willing to participate in such grand shows and concerts, existing spaces will have to be used.

Accra is set to reverberate with much excitement, and Chris Brown, himself is a stickler for giving electrifyingly pleasing performances - which is what helped him achieve his international superstar status – is eager to come to Ghana to thrill audiences to another of his spectacular shows which will be heavy on dancing and audience participation.

Event Director of Charterhouse, Mrs Theresa Ayoade says they are now on ‘overdrive’, working hard to create a “Madison Garden effect using intelligent lighting, and great sound, and stage design to give patrons a fantastic evening out.”

People who are skeptical about attending such a huge outdoor concert at the stadium, fearing attacks by hoodlums, are being assured by the organisers to expect improved organisational  strategies designed to give them a comfortable and secure ambiance to enjoy themselves.

The producers of the show promise that every patron, whether they were in the popular stand or in the VIP area set on the grounds in front of the stage, gets a great experience.

"Everyone has to be part of this history. Everyone should be able to say, I was there at the stadium when Chris Brown came to Ghana, and my, what a great experience it was!" said an excited Chris Brown fan, who says can't wait for next Tuesday.

The mega concert  will also feature local supporting acts including R2Bees, Efya, Samini, D-Black and Sherifa Gunu.

Powered by Ghana’s number one ICT company, rlg, the Hope City Launch Concert is in commemoration of the sod cutting for a new technology village – Hope City. It is produced by leading events management company, Charterhouse, with support from GHOne and Empire Entertainment.
