Clifford wins Mr. Model Ghana 2014

A 22-year-old professional dancer with the Ghana Dance Ensemble, Clifford Selorm Ametepeh, has been crowned the winner at the first edition of Mr. Model Ghana pageant in Accra.

The event, which was held at the Kama Conference Centre last week saw a fierce competition among the 10 contestants in the various segments. The contestants went through the mandated four-round segments where they cat-walked in designs of casual, corporate, avant garde and Daviva.

They also answered questions on current affairs during the question and answer segment to test their knowledge of events happening both locally and worldwide in recent times. They were also judged on a number of activities, including a photo shoot and catwalk competition prior to the final show. 

At the end, it was Mr. Ametepeh whose impressive performance got him an overwhelming endorsement from the judges to emerge the winner.

Daniel Yankey, a student of Takoradi Polytechnic was the first runner-up and Frank of the University of Ghana took the third position.

The judges were David Sakyi, C.E.O of Kwaku David Photography; Beatrice Asamoah, Managing Director of Pulse Fitness Gym; and Mrs. Jeanne Oti- Idissah of Ojeanne Clothing.

The pageant, organised by Fame Models aimed at unearthing new talents and faces in the modelling and fashion industry in Ghana.

For his prize package, Clifford earned a trip to South Africa, a year’s management, shoes from Samarra and a year gym membership from Pulse fitness.

There were musical performances from J.jorm, Juri Kid and Yaa Yaa.
