After a decade-long hiatus from the Ghanaian music scene following her relocation to the UK, the gospel sensation is finally returning to her roots.

Mark your calendars, as Esther Smith has announced her highly anticipated comeback concert in Ghana, ending a 10-year wait for her fans and gospel music enthusiasts.

In a Facebook post recently, she announced the good news with many of her admirers and gospel music enthusiasts, positively embracing her return to the stage in Ghana.

However, the date and venue for the upcoming show are yet to be announced.

“The wait is over! After 10+ years abroad, I'm finally returning to Ghana for a powerful gospel show with a heart full of joy and a voice ready to lift the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Don't miss out on this special gospel event…It's All About Jesus!" she wrote.

Also, Esther Smith is set to drop a new song, Onyame Banbo, featuring Morris Babyface, on July 5, which also happens to be her birthday.

“This new song is a special treat for my fans, and it's also a celebration of my birthday. It's a double reason to be happy.

“Moreover, I’m coming back home to Ghana for the Esther Smith Live Concert very soon! Let's praise and uplift the name of our Lord Jesus Christ together,” she said.

Esther Smith burst onto the music scene in 2003 with her debut album Gye No Di, which featured hits like Adze Kor, Agyedifo Ntaban and Yesu Kristo Asore.

The album was a massive success, earning her several awards at the Ghana Music Awards that year.

Since then, Esther has become a household name, known for her soulful voice and inspiring songs like Som No Yie, Teamu Fre Jesus, Nsuro and Onyame Ben Ni.
