Event organisers urged to plan their shows well ahead of time
Madam Annabelle Mckenzie of Beyond The Return- Ghana is encouraging event organisers and artistes to be prudent with their events and plan them well ahead of time to make room for good promotions and forestall challenges that could grapple its success.
According to her, having a well planned event months ahead of time equally gives the organisers ample time to promote as well as engage their audiences.

Miss McKenzie made these remarks as a panelist at 'The Guinness Accravaganza' on Wednesday, September 20.
Speaking on the theme, ‘Leveraging Entertainment and Culture to Drive Tourism, and Fuel Accra's Creative Economy' she disclosed that Beyond The Return- Ghana started promoting this years' event in March 2023 even though the shows are scheduled for December.
“Planning your event ahead of time gives you the ample time to execute properly and sell it well to patrons. By this, you promote the event well ahead of time and that will boost your tickets sale.
"Beyond The Return- Ghana always plan well so we are able to get huge attention and patronage when the time is due," she said.
Miss Mckenzie also entreated artistes to spread their events in other months and not to pile them up in December, since the month is choked with many activities together these events do not pack them.
“I will suggest that event organisers and artistes who put in December. This is because, December is so choked with events with almost the same artistes performing at different events” she said. The Guinness Accravaganza' provided the avenue for the speakers and patrons to deliberate on relevant matters of interest to the creative industry such as how corporate bodies can sponsor events, image building for artistes and planning of events.

Other panelists on the show hosted by Benjamin Offei- Addo were Kennedy Agyapong Jr. CEO of Afro Future, Baba Sadiq, Founder of 3 Music Awards, Pa John Bentsifi, creative writer and tourism enthusiast among others.
