I lied about my HIV medicine - Brother Sammy

Gospel musician, Brother Sammy has confessed to lying about his HIV medicine he claimed was given to him by God.

According to him, contrary to his earlier claims that God directed his preparation of the so called cure, he personally made all that up.

"Yes I lied about the HIV medicine to the public," he admitted on live radio with Accra-based Hitz FM.

The "Nation Worshipper" as he calls himself disclosed that the controversial medicine belongs to one of his grandparents, whom he wanted to help sell the product because of old age.

According to him, the said grandparent (whom he did not name or identify) is very weak but uses it to help people and that is why he wanted to help her/him before he/she dies".

Brother Sammy was arrested by the police in the Ashanti region following an earlier report by the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) accusing him of selling out an unauthorized product to the public which he claimed was from God.
