Salif Keita for Stanbic Festival
Celebrated Malian Afro pop singer and writer, Salif Keita, will perform at this year’s Stanbic Ghana Jazz Festival on Thursday, February 28, at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.
This year’s edition, themed: “Nostalgia”, will also feature UB40 and Top-flight Camerounian jazz bassist, Richard Bona, for the second time in two years. Bona and American saxophone player, Gerald Albright, were the top acts in 2017.
Expanding on the theme at the festival launch at Stanbic Heights in Accra, the Head of Marketing at Stanbic Bank, Mr Mawuko Afadzinu, said celebrating the past “gives us the impetus we need to face the future with renewed vigour”.

He said it was important for all to look to the future with confidence and help make Ghana a great country.
