Miss Ghana 2004 and CEO of Exclusive Events Ghana, Inna Mariam Patty has officially been called to the Bar of England and Wales at a ceremony by the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn on Tuesday, November 25.
She earned a Distinction from the University of Law after completing the Bar Practice Course and received the Dean's Award for Excellence Scholarship.
The dinner celebration event was attended by Inna’s parents, Ambassador Youssif Patty and Mrs Jameelah Patty, siblings, the Ghana’s High Commissioner to UK H.E Mrs. Zita Benson & her husband Mr Bobby Benson , Mr. Kwabena Osei-Danquah, Chief of Staff at the Commonwealth Secretariat, London; Eileen Baguma.
HR & Corporate Affairs Director of EACOP Uganda; and the CEO of Pippas Health Centre, Pihillipa Pepera, Accra, Mrs. Vangie Mari Patty- Regional Engineering Manager - Puma Energy, General Manager EIB Network Founder & President - Women in Sustainability Africa.
In an interview with Graphic Showbiz today, the philanthropist and entrepreneur said she saw law as a continuation of her purpose, and to use law as a tool for empowerment, justice, and social impact, especially for women and vulnerable communities.
“I see this as a continuation of my purpose, to use law as a tool for empowerment, justice, and social impact, especially for women and vulnerable communities,” said Patty.
Patty currently serves on the Board of FOCOS Orthopaedic Hospital and chairs the Miss Ghana Foundation, continuing her advocacy for education, healthcare and empowerment.
In an interview with Rev. Erskine on YFM’s Y-Leaderboard Series in 2022, Inna Patty had hinted moving from finance to the law field.
At the time, she mentioned that it was not much of a problem for her since pursuing law had always been in the bigger picture.
“Law has always fitted in my bigger plans and I’m glad I finally got to fulfil my law dreams.
Her achievements have earned several distinctions, including:
