Jammin’ in the name of the Lord
Nigerian comedian, Klint Da Drunk was the toast of the large audience who gathered at the HOM auditorium at Madina last Saturday, to praise and worship God at the second Stars In Worship programme.

Patrons couldn’t help it but laugh their hearts out when Klint da Drunk hit the stage at the middle of the programme to crack series of jokes about why people fear the devil than God.
The comedian shared a joke about the devil visiting him at night and running away to attack another person because of the fearfulness of his face.
Klint da Drunk spent 30 minutes on stage, talking about the challenges he goes through as a comedian and the importance of knowing God.
The event which began at 7 pm had musician Trigmatic leading the congregation through worship. The rapper, after singing two worship songs he had made purposely for the event encouraged everyone to get closer to God.
Actress Nana Ama McBrown followed with a praise song. She sang Afunuba by Cecilia Marfo and then thanked God for saving her from a terrible accident.
According to her , God has a purpose for her that is why He kept her alive from her accident which could have easily resulted in her death.
After Bishop Bernard Owusu preached the word of God, television presenter Amanda Jissih called all the celebrities forward and prayed for them telling God to give them long life and prosperity.

She said with sadness that too many Ghanaian celebrities have died this year and it is only God who can save them.
There were performances by Joe Mettle, Willie and Mike and Nii Addo.
Present at the event which had Jeremie of Live FM and Nigeria’s MC Abbey as emcees, were Citi FM’s Jessica Opare-Saforo, Nollywood’s Kalu Ikeagwu, YFM’s Caroline Sampson and actors Ama K. Abebrese, Soraya Mensah and Omar Sheriff Captan.
Speaking at the event, Soraya Mensah thanked everyone for coming out in their numbers to support the event.
According to her, next year would be bigger and better than this year.
