Livingstone Foundation hosts 2nd Bhim Skills workshop Saturday
Ahead of his "Bhim Concert" on Tuesday, December 21, Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy's The Livingstone Foundation (TLF), will hold the second edition of its Bhim Skills free training workshop on Saturday, December 18.
The first edition of the workshop was held last year where a limited number of participants and entrepreneurs were trained.
Slated for the Military Police Mess, El-Wak Sports Stadium in Accra, this second edition seeks to equip participants with entrepreneurship skills to navigate their way through the new normal occasioned by the COVID-19 pandemic.

It also looks at creating an overall knowledgeable entrepreneur who can work independently without constant help and supervision from others and complete everyday tasks more efficiently.
Some of the areas to be covered during the event are small-scale agricultural activities; entrepreneurial development training; food & agro-food processing; fashion accessories manufacturing; home cleaning product manufacturing; natural cosmetics production and fashion design.
The Bhim Skills workshop is among a number of activities being undertaken to herald the grand return of the "Bhim Concert" which will come off at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Centre. The other events include a free health examination at the Mandela Park in Ashaiman.
The event is also part of The Livingstone Foundation's Corporate Social Responsibility efforts and is aligned with the theme for this year's concert "Bhim of Hope".
The Livingstone Foundation is a non-governmental organisation with the vision of reducing the suffering and hardship of brilliant but needy and the vulnerable in society by providing monetary aid, technical aid, etc.
Its primary objectives are equal access to education, accident survivor healthcare, community advocacy, and youth empowerment.
