Nana Boroo bounces back
After taking a break from the music scene for sometime, the Aha Yede hitmaker, Nana Boroo, is back with two new singles to usher in his come back.

The songs are Wo Ye Kwa and Kotofa which features rapper/singer, Castro. He is hopeful these new songs would appease his fans for all the time he has been absent.
Kotofa, produced by Kaywa is another fast tempo song from Nana Boroo and he told Showbiz last Wednesday the song was composed for his fans who have missed his energetic kind of music.
He said that Wo Ye Kwa, produced by Nana Fynn, was inspired by a motor accident he was involved in last year.
Nana Boroo said the release of the songs is in preparation towards his new album, Unpredictable, which will be released in December this year.
He acknowledged that the music scene has gone through some changes since his ‘break’ but expressed his optimism about the impact of Wo Ye Kwa and Kotofa will make.
“I accept there have been new artistes with some great stuff out there but it is not about what someone is doing. I am not in competition with any artiste because I have my own unique style. What I have to do is to take my time, do my homework well and work hard. I’m sure that will put me up there” he said.
“ I haven’t released a song in a while because I didn’t want to put out just anything for public consumption. I wanted to present good pieces and my new singles would testify to that”.

He described his upcoming album, Unpredictable, as “an eclectic blend of songs” that will surprise his fans and people in the music industry.
“Anybody who hears the new album would be amazed. I have a mixture of different genre of music on the new album. Unpredictable may have all the 30 songs I have been working on or not. We are yet to make that decision,” he said.
“Also, you know there’s a business aspect to music so I need to tap into that since that is what I might do for the rest of my life. For such a lucrative venture, I need to put in my all yet be tactful” he stated.
Real name, Nana Osei Bonsu, Nana Boroo shot to fame in 2009 with his hit single, Aha Yede. But he wasn’t able to keep up with that pace when his subsequent songs like Bolinga, Bebia soso and Big mama failed to make waves.
