Nigerian man embarking on Guinness World Record cry-a-thon goes blind
A Nigerian man identified as Tembu Ebere, has partially lost his sight in a bizarre attempt to cry nonstop for 100 hours to break the Guinness World Record.
A few days ago, he expressed interest in starting a seven-day non-stop cry-a-thon in a social media post that quickly went viral.

However in a sour turnout of events during his craze quest to achieve this feat, Ebere has revealed that his excessive crying has rendered him temporary blind.
In a recent interview with BBC, he said he first started experiencing excruciating headaches, puffy eyes, and a swollen face from the incessant crying, and subsequently went into 45 minutes of temporary blindness.
Restating his zeal to go follow through his quest, he said “I had to re-strategise and reduce my wailing.”
