He said he was not dating MzVee, emphatically stating they were just good friends and admitted that she was a beautiful and talented young lady and a great person to hangout and work with.

“MzVee and I work together a lot so we spend a lot of time together. We have become good friends and nothing more, there is nothing romantic between us.”

His latest single Naadu which features MzVee has received massive airplay since its premiere and the 22 -year old University of Ghana graduate reveals he and Mzvee have been working on a few more bangers.

The single talks about how men should have the interest of their partners at heart  and wishes them all the good things they wish for themselves.

Talking about some of his songs, the RnB singer explains, he composed Never Again in the Hitzmaker competition and the song was inspired by a love affair gone sour, a bitter experience he wanted to share with the world.

“I just decided to put it in a song and share with anyone else out there who has been through something similar.”

Stating his genre of music, Kidi  said he will not put himself in the RnB box, although he rides on RnB beats and has also realised he can pour his emotions using Afrobeats as well as Reggae. ‘I can be versatile and that’s what I am doing.’

“The Ghanaian music industry is not ready for the RnB market”, the Awurama singer added and noted that the genre doesn’t appeal to the masses though few people enjoy it.
