Retraction and apology to Sophia Asi Ocansey and S. O. Herbal

The Management of Graphic Communications Group Limited (GCGL) retracts and apologises to Sophia Asi Ocansey, a private herbal medical practitioner under the name S. O. Herbal, for an article published, titled “My Marriage was Abusive” on graphic.com.gh  on July 25, 2021.

We sincerely apologise and state categorically that the said story was written with no malice, ill will, bad faith or whatsoever against the person of Sophia Asi Ocansey or S. O. Herbal, neither had we any intention to run down her personality and business.

In the said publication, graphic.com.gh inadvertently captured untrue accusations and vituperations made by one Adwoa Sarfo, wife of radio presenter, Nana Yaw Sarfo, as the cause of their marriage break-up.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience and any harm the said publication has caused the reputation of Sophia Asi Ocansey and her business concern, S. O. Herbal.

Since our attention was drawn to the matter and the subsequent suit against Graphic, the said untrue story was pulled down from the website of graphic.com.gh to empathise with Sophia Asi Ocansey.

We hereby dissociate ourselves from the story because there is no truth whatsoever in the accusation by the said Adwoa Sarfo that Sophia Asi Ocansey<B> <$>slept with her husband, interfered and dictated the pace of their marriage, among others.

Once again, we reiterate our unreserved apology for the publication and any harm caused to Sophia Asi Ocansey as a person and her business concern, S. O. Herbal.

Any harm caused to Sophia Asi Ocansey and S. O. Herbal is deeply regretted.
