Food is in abundance as the streets are dotted with many fastfood joints, offering different variety of meals to patrons of the Easter celebrations.
There are a lot to choose from in terms of drinks as retailers of different beverages, including alcoholic drinks, are taking advantage of the occasion to cash on the revellers. It is a season of street marketing.
Every corner of the Kwahu enclave is dishing out loud music to the revellers who occasionally pause on the streets to display their dancing skills. There are also a section of revellers who are in town to ‘see things for themselves.’ Some, especially the first timers are shocked at the scenes!
The usual vehicular traffic too is at its best, particularly on Thursday through Friday morning, Saturday to Sunday. It has been a standstill moment all over.
The police and their sister security agencies are up to the beat, controlling traffic and protecting lives and property.

Vehicles that do not park at the right places are immediately towed. The police have also mounted various check points to ensure that nobody's life is put in jeopardy during the event.
Even though food is everywhere, the prices are roof high. For instance, a stick of khebab which usually goes for GH¢5 and GH¢10 is selling at GH¢30. Yeah, GH¢30 and the prices continue to grow as the time ticked.
The reason for the occasion, which is the celebration of the death of Jesus Christ featured prominently as Christians took advantage of the event to preach the Gospel. Placards bearing different inscriptions and gospel messages, admonishing people to tend to Christ are on display at various locations.
