Slim Drumz talks about Mzbel
Music has been his passion since childhood and young artiste, Slim Drumz, believes he’s got what it takes to rub shoulders with the “big guns” and he hopes to achieve that with his new song, Mzbel which was recently released.

Just like how most young ladies love to play smart on men to make money, Mzbel, is a song which explores some of the activities of these young ladies.
In the song, a 16-year old called Mzbel is in the habit of seducing men and “robbing” them of their money. Though young, Mzbel in a bid to justify her actions behaves like an adult and many men have fallen for her “antics” after winning their favours.
Slim Drumz also explained that, the track talks about how young ladies have the habit of ripping their partners off their resources. The trend, he believes shouldn’t be encouraged since it is “dangerous when you fall into the wrong hands”.
In a chat with Graphic Showbiz, Slim Drumz said, “My main aim is to make an impact in the industry and use the platform I have to educate my young brothers and sisters.
“Everything that has a beginning has an end and that is why we must not enjoy from the sweat of others. I want our young ladies to know that there is virtue in hard work and it pays as well,” he stated.
He discovered his talent at the age of 10 and since then, Slim Drumz has been honing his skills to be a better artiste.
Real name, Eckow Blankson, he grew up at Dansoman in Accra and said he prefers to sing in his native Fante language as it gives him the freedom to express himself.
