Togbe Ghana hosts third edition of Ghana Beach festival
Musician Togbe Ghana has hosted the third edition of the Ghana Beach Festival, an event aimed at promoting cleanliness and sustainability along Ghana's beaches.
The festival, which took place on January 1, 2026, at Anase Beach, in Nungua featured music, engaging activities, and initiatives to protect the environment.
The event is part of Togbe Ghana's "Let's Go Clean The Beach" initiative, which has been working to reduce plastic waste and promote environmental responsibility.
The festival also includes a beach clean-up exercise, where participants are provided with cleaning materials and encouraged to take action in keeping the beaches clean ³ ¹.
Togbe Ghana, a reggae artiste and environmental ambassador, has been leading efforts to promote environmental sustainability and protect Ghana's beaches.
The Beach festival comes off on the heels of a successful ‘Let’s Go Clean the Beach’ project which took place at Osu Beach on Farmers’ Day las December.

In a previous event, he planted 100 coconut trees at Osu Beach as part of a larger goal to plant 10,000 coconut trees along Ghana's coastline.
The Beach festival had over 500 people in attendance who collected over 500 kg of other trash with over 25 volunteers.
"We are the environment and we're what we want our environment to be, so we should take care of our environment. It's high time we change the environment to what we want it to be,” Togbe Ghana told Graphic Showbiz.
