Vibes The Movie wins big at Black Film & Screenplay Festival 2025
Ghanaian filmmakers Big Ghun and Jeffrey Nortey's Vibes The Movie has taken home the award for Best Feature Film at the prestigious Black Film & Screenplay Festival 2025.
The movie, directed by Big Ghun, is an adaptation of the popular social media series 'The Vibes', which blends rap, comedy, and relatable storytelling about everyday Ghanaian youth.
The series, created by Big Ghun (Nicholas Tettey Nartey) and Lil Pui (Jeffrey Nortey), gained massive traction on social media, amassing over 10 million views and featuring influential personalities.
The movie premiered on October 4, 2025, at Silverbird Cinemas, Accra Mall and West Hills Mall, showcasing the duo's creativity and humour.
