What I learnt from being a slay queen - Former Miss Malaika winner

Former Miss Malaika winner, Hamamat Montia has shed light on her lifestyle as a slay queen after being crowned a beauty queen in 2006.

The self-confessed former slay queen in two posts on Instagram recalled she had so much fun and learnt countless important lessons but stressed that not all slay queens "sleep around". She added that some are just very smart at keeping men on the hunt for long.

Hamamat also stated that the most important goal of every slay queen is to land a man who will take care of all her needs.

Hamamat posted: "Name the country - I have been there. Name the fashion - I wore it. Name the lifestyle - I have tried it.

"In fact, my summer car choices was between a Ferrari & a Rolls Royce but this also taught me a valuable lesson. As a slay Queen - your most important goal is to catch a “big fish “ one that will take care of all your wants, needs & dreams".

She said she indeed landed her big fish but soon realised that money wasn't her goal in life.

The 2007 Model of Africa Universe said that period of her life taught her some important lessons.

In another post, she stated that the number one rule for every top slay queen to remember is that,"NOTHING FOR FREE‼️"

"Nothing is for free. Not the dinners. Not the cars. Not the clothes. Not the experiences. Not even the selfies you take in the hotels are for free.

"The whole idea of “slay” isn’t just how beautiful you look but how smart you “Slay” your prey without getting caught. I was a slayer - I was very good at getting what I want and before they could even say the word “open “ - I vanished!.

"I thought I was super smart - it worked well for me and was exciting but after that #bigfish experience I left the game behind and started my own little family - I wanted to focus on LOVE ❤️".

Happy Wednesday #KingsandQueens : : : I used to be a “slay queen” when I was much younger and clueless. Don’t get me wrong being a slay queen was so much fun I had many amazing experiences & learnt countless important lessons(and not all slay queens “sleep around “ some are just very smart at keeping men on the hunt for long ) but I soon realized it was all a trap and wasn’t the kind of life I wanted to live . How will you know if you don’t try ? Huh!... and after I became a beauty Queen at 18 , I really just wanted to chill . : : Name the country - I have been there Name the fashion - I wore it Name the lifestyle - I have tried it In fact my summer car choices was between a Ferrari & a Rolls Royce but this also taught me a valuable lesson. : As a slay Queen - your most important goal is to catch a “big fish “ one that will take care of all your wants , needs & dreams . So I caught a big fish @20 but I soon learnt a life changing lesson . : Now I had this big fish and everyone was telling me to marry him and inherit it all - it was hard because I didn’t even know what love was and my instincts just won’t allow me to sleep at night. : I just couldn’t put myself in the box of “African girl marrying white man for money” (because that is what everyone thought at that time ) . I ended the relationship suddenly when I realized money alone wasn’t my goal in life but How dare you say no to a “big fish” after you went ring shopping together and met the parents and met the friends and met everyone . So we ended up in court because he wanted something in return- I mean how do you think big fish get Big ? Over 10years and there is still a picture of us on (my) wiki - ? : This phase in my life thought me many valuable lessons. Lessons that has helped transform my life for the better some of such lessons are - The power of #money The power of #intuition & The power of #white love : : I am not racist I am not sexist I am not what you think I am but rather a woman who knows who she is and is not afraid to try : : Comment #333 to continue 3 more days to my birthday : Click Hamamat.com to shop and win #moringaoil @hamamatafricanbeauty

And no media cared for my side of the story : : How ? Why? I didn’t steal the car , it was one of many gifts but looking back now I probably stole his heart and he had to tell the world. : : How could this happen 3years after ? I thought we both moved on . : That was a very difficult period in my life but this very experience is also the reason why I started doing what I do today . : : The truth is that You will pay for it , one way or the other Now or later There is always a #cost to the #price that only you can pay for . : : I could say “don’t do what I did “ but every choice you make is a learning experience . Learn from them and be aware of the many unspoken rules to the game and always be 3 steps ahead .
