A letter to all WASSCE candidates

My friend,

Although this letter is very informal and unfortunately late, I choose to bring it out because we all know that it’s “better late than never”. The constraints of time have made sharing of pleasantries totally irrelevant in this small piece. I therefore proceed.

I know for a fact that you have begun your West Africa Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) . Some candidates have started with their Practicals already. According to the website of the West African Examination Council “the real 2016 Wassce time table starts on the 29th of March. I know you will write the highly sensitive oral English. Cock up your ears, clean your ‘olfactory lobes’ and brace yourself up for it.

My lovely friend, as for examinations, you have written a whole lot of them before. Therefore, this should not be a novelty to you. The only difference between what you have written in the past and this one is the West Africanization of this present one. It is the
