A downpour that lasted about five hours on Wednesday kept most residents indoors for a better part of the day at Keta in the Volta Region.
The rain, which started at about 9:30 am and ended around 2:30 pm submerged five houses and flooded the Agorte, Sankara and Keta Central roads.

The deluge also flooded parts of the Keta Senior High Technical School.
The Keta Municipal Director of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Wonder Setsoafia Deynu told Graphic Online that two men and two women were displaced.
No casualty was recorded, he said.
“We are still assessing the damage,” the municipal NADMO director added.
