VIDEO: UK PM Boris Johnson tests positive for Coronavirus
The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson has tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19).
His symptoms are mild and he will continue to lead the government response to the virus while he self-isolates, a Downing Street spokesman told the BBC.
In a video post on Twitter, Mr Johnson said he developed mild symptoms and tested positive for coronavirus over the last 24hours.
He posted: "I am now self-isolating, but I will continue to lead the government’s response via video-conference as we fight this virus. Together we will beat this. #StayHomeSaveLives".

He said he will continue to lead the UK from his home after testing positive for COVID-19.
"I can continue, thanks to the wizardry of technology, to communicate with my top team and lead the national fightback against the virus," he said.
