Boamang D/A School wins quiz competition

The Boamang Maase District Assembly Junior High School has won the maiden edition of the Boamang Zonal Schools Quiz Competition in the Afigya Sekyere District in the Ashanti Region.

The students contested in a quiz competition to test their knowledge in Mathematics, Science, Social Studies and English. All the five schools in the district participated in the contest.

The Boamang Maase D/A Junior High School bagged 33 points and was followed by the Boamang Roman Catholic JHS with 27 points, while Boamang District Assembly JHS had 21 points.

For their prizes, Boamang Maase District Assembly Junior High School took home a trophy and 30 exercise books. All other participating schools received 30 exercise books each.

The competition brought out the best in the students, especially in science, as some of them explained the answers so well to the admiration of their supporters, parents, teachers and the invited guests.

The contest was organised by the Boamang Efigya Youth Focus, a youth organisation in the area.

The Boamang Maase District Assembly Junior High was represented by Maxwell Ofori, Eunice Boatemaa and Emmanuel Baffoe.
