A statement issued by the group said as a nation, “we need to give God all the glory for redeeming Ghana from destruction and ushering us into 2015 peacefully.”

It also said the programme would be on the theme: “Oh God, show favour to your land and restore the fortunes of (Ghana),” Psalms 85:1.

The statement said prayer highlights would include rededicating Ghana unto God, asking for wisdom and guidance for our leaders, economic stability, favourable weather pattern and protection of our borders against any form of infiltration.

It added that similar prayer sessions would be held at the Jubilee Parks in Kumasi, Sunyani, Takoradi, Tamale, Bolga and Wa.

The statement said at Cape Coast, the prayer sessions would be held in Wesley Hall, while that of Koforidua would be held at the Jackson Park and the RTC Park in Ho.

The attire would be all white. The programme would be aired live on Ghana Television (GTV) at 10a.m.
