A storey building located at London Bridge in Cape Coast in the Central Region, collapsed, and trapped five people on Saturday killed two.
It followed a heavy downpour on Saturday [June 21, 2025].
Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), the police and the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) responded to the distress call and were at the scene to assist with the search for the trapped persons.
Two out of the five trapped persons died.
Reports suggest the building was weak.
