The Secretary of the church, Rev. Thomas Tete Asare, who made the call, also urged the participants to live at peace with one another.

He  advised the participants to improve themselves academically and take very good care of their bodies.

He further charged them to endeavour to implement the policies and programmes established by the church in order that members might actively participate in church activities.

He encouraged them to share the knowledge they had acquired with the members of the church.

According to Rev Asare, the theme for this year’s school; “Fanning the pentecostal fire for the next generation”, was chosen to equip the participants with the requisite know-how in order that they would be in a position to impart sound christian doctrines to members of the church.

He announced that two new districts of the church had been created in the Mankessim area as part of the church’s  mobilisation and expansion drive.

The course prefect of the school, Elder Amos Awortwe Pratt, said 1,098 officers of the church attended the five-day course.

He said the participants had learnt a lot and as such commended the facilitators for their efforts.

Topics treated, he said, covered effective home cell and Bible study system in the local assembly, pastoral care, shepherding members in the local assembly and handling the discipleship manual and discipleship call in the local assembly.

He requested for more sleeping mattresses, English reading manuals and lunch or snacks to be provided for students next year.

A lecturer from the Pentecost University College, Rev. Dr Della Quampah, was the supervisor for the school with Rev. John Enoch Baden coordinating activities.
