COVID-19: Ghana records 125 new cases, active cases drop to 842
Ghana has recorded 125 new cases of the Coronavirus diseases, pushing the cumulative total to 45,313.
The country has also recorded 146 new recoveries, bringing the total number of recoveries to 44,188.
An update by the Ghana Health Service (GHS) on Thursday indicated that the number of deaths remained at 283.

The number of active cases had, however, dropped to 842.

Meanwhile, the GHS has certified 13 laboratories to carry out Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for COVID-19.
The laboratories are located in the Greater Accra, Ashanti, Volta, Western and Northern Regions.
They are: National Public Health Refereance Laboratory, Korle Bu; Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, Legon; Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research, KNUST; Veterinary Services Department, Labone and Veterinary Services Department, Takoradi.

The rest are Public Health Reference Laboratory, Tamale; Public Health Refernce Laboratory, Takoradi; University Health And Allied Sciences Laboratory, Ho; MDS-LANCET, East Legon; Nyaho Diagnostic Laboratory, Accra; Akai House Laboratory, Accra and Council For Scientific And Industrial Research, Accra.
