An Accra Circuit Court on Tuesday granted a bail of GH¢ 70,000.00 with four sureties to 19-year-old Disk Jockey, Enoch Otoo Lamptey who stands accused of defiling a 13-year-old girl at “Lante Dzan We,” around James Town suburb of Accra.
Enoch pleaded guilty to the charge of having sexual intercourse twice with the victim and impregnating her.
The court presided over by Mrs Abena Oppong Adjin-Doku, granted him bail in the sum of GH¢ 70,000.00 with four sureties on the grounds that he has to take care of the pregnant girl until she delivers. He is, however, to reappear on February 4.

The facts of the case as presented by Chief Inspector of Police, Kofi Atimbire were that the complainant, Mercy Laryea is the mother of the victim, a Junior High School Student who lives with her grandmother at James Town, while the accused is a Disk Jockey, living at Lante Dzan We in the same area.
He said in November 2017, the accused and victim became friends, and in that same month, Enoch lured the victim into his house on two occasions and had sexual intercourse with her.
After each act, he warned the victim not to tell anyone and she kept same to herself. She later became pregnant and her grandmother detected it.
The prosecution said her grandmother informed the complainant, who conducted a pregnancy test, which proved positive. Thereafter the victim narrated the incident to the complainant.
Mr Atimbire said the case was reported to the James Town Police. A medical form was subsequently issued to the complainant to send the victim to a medical facility for examination and treatment, which was returned duly endorsed by a medical personnel.
He told the court that, the case was transferred to the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit, Accra and Enoch was then arrested.
