He said this at the Obuasi Gringo Di Asa season 8 launch, which took place on Friday, May 24, at the Sika Hall inside Atinka Media Village.

This year's Di Asa, dubbed “Dance for Peace,” seeks to promote peace and unity amongst Ghanaians as the country gears towards the presidential and parliamentary elections.

Aside from promoting peace, it will also thrill audiences with top-notch entertainment and exciting performances.

At the launch, the Di Asa Season 8 logo was unveiled, as were the sponsors.

The former Di Asa queens also stormed the stage to entertain the audience with electrifying dance performances.

"Di Asa" aims to promote body positivity and celebrate the beauty of the plus-size African woman.
