LIVELEAD conference scheduled for October 4
The eighth edition of the LIVELEAD conference has been launched in Accra with the aim of assembling world-class leadership experts to equip participants with fresh perspectives and practical tools that can significantly impact their communities and the nation.
Scheduled for October 4, the event will be held on the theme: "Living for Transformation: Renewed Minds Change Lives".

This year's conference aims to enhance specific aspects of leadership, focusing on transforming lives and shaping minds.
The conference will feature addresses by world-renowned and distinguished personalities, including John C. Maxwell, Kwame Pianim, Akosua Bame and Malcolm Gladwell.
Addressing the launch, the Chief Executive Officer of the Centre for Transformational Leadership in Africa (CTL Africa), Samuel Ayim, stressed that this year's conference would emphasise transformative leadership because of the increasing incidence of corruption among the country's leaders.
The previous editions of the conference, he said, had focused on various aspects of leadership such as values and integrity.
“Look at where we are as a country. Look at our environment. Look at the desperation in the eyes of our youth who have no jobs, several years after school. Those who can are voting with their feet, using very dangerous routes,” Mr Ayim said.
“Look at the state of leadership in our country — where our political leaders are competing by comparing records of how bad they have been.

We need bold, new, and creative ideas to transform our businesses, our country, and our continent. We need bold, new, and creative ideas to tap into the abundant natural resources God has so freely endowed us with to create riches, to feed our people, and to heal our populations. We need bold, new, and creative solutions to basic problems facing our country,” he added.
Transformation
Dr Yaw Perbi, a leadership coach, also emphasised the importance of mindset in achieving success. He noted that this year's event would focus on transformation, as the country's progress hinged on creating a critical mass of people who thought correctly.
“If we are able to do right, we will be able to move our country in the right direction and we wouldn’t have an economic problem. We don't have a galaxy problem. We have a leadership problem,” he said.
