Minister, traditional council discuss development in Ningo

The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Ningo Prampram Constituency, who is also the Minister of Communication, Digital Technology and Innovations, Samuel Nartey George, has paid a courtesy call on the Ningo Traditional Council to officially congratulate the newly installed Paramount Chief of the Great Ningo Traditional Council, Nene Osroagbo Djagmah XII.

The MP was accompanied by the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Ningo Prampram, Raphael Uriel Nartey, and some officials from the district assembly, including the District Coordinating Director. The meeting offered a platform for the MP and the DCE to discuss issues concerning the development of the area.

Concerns

Among issues of concern in the accelerated development of the area are roads, most of which are in a deplorable state, and the lack of basic amenities and job opportunities for the youth.

Nene Djagmah XII, therefore, appealed to the government to intervene by ensuring their concerns were addressed to make life comfortable for the people.

Congratulatory message

On behalf of the chiefs and people of the area, Nene Djagmah XII congratulated Mr Sam George on his appointment and encouraged him to work hard in the interest of all citizens.

He also extended felicitations to the DCE and pledged the support of the chiefs to him in the discharge of his mandate to deliver the Reset Agenda of the government.
