PA Conference 2025 launched to champion cross-border growth

The much-anticipated 2025 PA Conference has been officially launched, setting the stage for what promises to be the most impactful edition yet.

Last Monday’s launch, organised by FiveSixFive at the Labadi Beach Hotel, drew an audience which included media representatives, stakeholders and members of the assistant professional community.

In her remarks, the Managing Partner of FiveSixFive, Maame Ekua Gaisey, said this year’s conference, scheduled for July 17 and 18, 2025 at the same venue, would be held on the theme,  “Growth for Cross Border Relevance.”

The theme reflects the growing need for administrative professionals to adapt, lead and remain relevant in an increasingly interconnected and fast-paced global work environment.

For the first time in its history, the PA Conference will span two full days, a direct response to consistent feedback from past participants who seek more time for deeper engagements, practical sessions and networking.

Launched in 2019, the PA Conference has evolved into a premier platform for recognising and empowering Personal Assistants (PAs), Executive Assistants (EAs), Project Coordinators, Administrative Officers and related professionals across Ghana and beyond.

From a humble start with just 49 delegates, the conference has grown steadily and is expected to host over 300 participants this year.

Role of assistants

Maame Gaisey highlighted the significance of the assistant’s role in modern organisations, describing PAs and EAs as “the quiet power behind the scenes” and “the unseen architects of success.” She emphasised that while technology continued to transform workspaces, the need for highly skilled and intuitive assistants had never been more critical.

“Properly aligned assistants help leaders navigate the overwhelming flow of information and draw out relevant insights for strategic decision-making,”  she said.

Maame Gaisey called on all administrative professionals across the continent to embrace the moment to learn and scale up.

At this year’s conference, delegates will have the opportunity to engage with respected thought leaders and professionals across diverse fields, participate in high-impact sessions, and explore new tools and trends that are redefining support roles in the workplace.

With preparations in full swing and excitement building, the 2025 PA Conference is set to be a landmark gathering of professionals committed to growth, value and impact.
