A police statement issued Wednesday (October 23) afternoon said Tony Mintah "was allegedly taken away by unidentified individuals from the premises of the National Communications Authority (NCA) in Accra."

The police statement did not indicate when he was taken away, except to state that anybody with relevant information about his whereabouts should contact the police.

However, after an hour of the earlier public notice declaring him missing, the police put out another notice indicating that he had been found.

"The Ghana Police wishes to inform the public that Mr Tony Mintah, the Chief Executive Officer of NextGen Infraco has been found. Details will be provided soon," the second statement indicated.
