Ghana’s Deputy Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Sanni Jajah has passed on.
He died on Saturday evening the Member of Parliament for Ayawaso North, Yussif Jajah, who is his nephew has said.
Describing the death as a heavy loss to the family, Yussif Jajah appealed to the public to keep the bereaved family in their thoughts and prayers as they come to terms with the loss.
He said further details regarding the funeral arrangements and burial would be communicated by the family in due course.
Sanni Jajah was appointed Deputy Head of Mission at Ghana’s Embassy in Saudi Arabia on September 11, 2025, by President John Dramani Mahama.
In the role, he worked alongside Ghana’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Alhaji Said Sinare, supporting the embassy’s diplomatic and consular responsibilities, including assistance to Ghanaian nationals in the country.
His duties also involved supporting Ghanaian pilgrims travelling to Saudi Arabia for the annual Hajj, as well as helping address consular matters affecting Ghanaian citizens.
