Presenting the items on behalf of the church, the Parish Priest, Ven. Hansen Addy, said, “the donation forms part of the church’s social responsibility to the inmates of the hospital,” and added that the church would continue to exhibit this spirit of giving every Easter to patients at the hospital, hoping that it would bring the inmates spiritual healing.

The Head of Public Relations of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH), Mr Mustapha Salifu, and Ms Rosemary Brown, Senior Nursing Officer (SNO), who received the items, commended the generosity of the church for the past 23 years. Mr Mustapha assured the church that soon, the hospital would reciprocate its gesture by rendering a medical outreach for the church members free of charge.

The Parish Priest and Archdeacon of the Accra West Archdiocese of the church, Venerable Samuel Hansen-Addy, prayed over the items, which included assorted provisions, foodstuffs and beverages, liquid and solid detergents, toiletries and standing aids.
