The gunmen then took off on their bike, without entering the house of the deceased.
His body is currently at the Tema General Hospital mortuary awaiting autopsy.
Speaking to the Daily Graphic at the scene near the Republic Road School, Madam Cecilia Takyi, wife of the deceased, said the area had its turn of power outage on that day.
She said the deceased, on return from work, therefore, decided to relax in the car, which he had parked outside with the air conditioner on, to cool off.
Madam Takyi said at about 10:50 p.m. the deceased woke up to park the vehicle, a Toyota Highlander, with registration number GT 449-14, in the garage.
She said she then heard gunshots and people in the vicinity ran into their rooms, while the motorbike zoomed away.
