Man shot dead in Kumasi
Ashtown, a suburb of Kumasi, was last Friday rocked with grief when five unknown assailants in a taxi shot and killed a 34-year-old man known only as Antwi.
Antwi, who was shot at close range, was said to have dared the men in an argument a day earlier at a popular ‘pito’ joint at Manhyia.

An eyewitness told the Daily Graphic that Antwi was shot at the back of the head, with the bullets issuing forth from his forehead.
He was rushed to the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital but died on arrival.
The pito joint in question is a known habitat for criminals and drug addicts who meet and smoke in the open.
The incident came a day after the Manhyia police had rounded up 86 suspected armed robbers in a swoop.
The Manhyia police have begun a hunt for the assailants and are calling on the public for assistance.
The killing is the second in six months, the eyewitness told the Daily Graphic.
